• Ok. The site is at https://www.classycateringcreations.com/
    The feed is at https://www.classycateringcreations.com/feed/

I initially tried to pull it up in FF. Have since learned that it always shows a excerpt post. I have since followed everyone’s directions to open it in IE or a “real” feed reader. I have opened it in Outlook, Google Reader, and IE and all show excerpt posts. My settings clearly indicate “Full Post” and no matter what I do it continues to show this way. I have not edited my feed templates at all. Please Help.

    to troubleshoot, you may try:

-deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to narrow down and possibly fix the problem. If the problem goes away, activate them individually to find the culprit.

-switching to the default theme (“twentyten”) for a moment by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WordPress to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.

Take a look at this, hopefully it will help:

    https://nnbox.ca/2010/03/hack-fix-for-wordpress-2-9-not-displaying-full-text-rss/

I know in the title, it says 2.9, but read the comments, this helped to fix the issue with people running WP 3.1.

On a side note, could you please tell me the slide plugin you are using for your header?, I like it very much.

    The whole site looks great.

looks like the fix involves modifying the code in the “core file” feed-rss2.php in the wp-includes folder.

-as recommended in these forms, it’s not good idea to mess with the core files unless you know what you are doing.

-also, beware when you update your WordPress next time, your modifications will be overwritten.

Thank you Nalco your link did in fact work GREAT! Quick non-intrusive fix. I would have done the other suggestion but this site is live and gets decent traffic. I didn’t want to turn it off after the month it was already down while we got everything else set up.

As far as the slider. This is a template by TemplateSquare called Elegance and the slider is built into the theme. Hope that helps.

And thank you very much on the look of the site. It still looks a lot like the original them but I have done some edits to the headers and footers to add images and links.
