I have just moved my weblog from a sub-directory, to the main directory of my site. I am using the same theme, and same version (3.0.1) on both.

Google Reader can find the RSS feed on my old blog location, but not the new one.

    Old Location: https://www.alyshajane.com/delysh/

    New Location: https://www.alyshajane.com/

My site is hosted on DreamHost.

I’ve been through the support forums and not found anything that fixed my problem. The only difference between the two installations, is that the Old Blog’s WP installation was through the DreamHost one-click install, while the New Blog’s installation was done manually by myself (One-click didn’t work there as I had other directories).

Would love some help – tearing my hair out on this one! ??

A simple htaccess redirect should do that.

    RedirectMatch 301 ^/delysh/.*$ https://www.alyshajane.com/$1

Would that then be using the RSS feed from the old blog location?

I want to eventually delete the old blog, and only have one at alyshajane.com

    Thanks!

That should redirect any and all calls at the old folder to your new one. Then you can happily delete the old folder.

Hope someone could help me here.

The subscribe via RSS for my blog is not working, please go to my blog here and click the subscribe via RSS button : https://www.computertrainingforyou.com/software/
