I have enabled the RSS feed and it is showing old results. It is not updating with the latest feeds. I can see the latest feeds only when I am logged in on WordPress as admin.
Please provide a fix for this issue.

    Hello,

This sounds like a caching issue either with a caching plugin or with your server caching if it is showing different results while you’re logged in as an administrator. See if you can clear either cache and it should fix the issue.

How can I exclude this plugin from caching? It is not feasible to clear the cache every time manually.

I’m not sure, that would be a question for whatever caching plugin or software you’re using. We have no control over external caching from the plugin level.

I have encountered the same issue on my website. Only by changing the shortcode command to retrieve a different number of items have I managed to get my pages to display an updated RSS feed.

I am having the same issue. I have attempted to follow the suggestions on this thread but it is still not working. I am only getting the spinning circle (looks like it is loading). I am on the latest version of WP, PHP, etc.

Any other suggestions to get this to work?

Additionally, I have cleared cache, changed the number of posts to display, changed the refresh time and none of this seems to work.

Clearly this is a commonly experienced issue. It is not good enough to be fobbing this off as being caused by something else.

    +1
for me 2, this appears to have stopped working. All I get is the spinning circle, but no display of feed items.

Correction: just turned out that this “just” takes a very long time to load. Minutes, rather than seconds. Which in turn may be owed to server weakness/es on my end. Will explore further. Sorry to have piped in prematurely, as it seems.

I am using the WP Super Cache plugin. Does this plugin potentially have a detrimental effect on the working of WP RSS Feed Retriever?
