RSS Feed not Updating

  • Hi everyone, I’m working with WordPress and zrssfeed to display the RSS2 feed from our blog (https://blog.myron.com) onto a secondary page. The feed itself displays fine (https://blog.myron.com/feed/rss2), and I validated it via feedvalidator.org, but through this plugin the only post that displays is the default “Hello World!” post – which has already been permanently deleted.

    I thought this problem might have been related to the redirect that our original WordPress.com blog had set, but I changed the default back to the wordpress.com domain. I also deleted the default post there too.

    I tried disabling all plugins, and even replacing the plugins folder. I also re-uploaded via ftp the wp-admin and wp-includes folders, with no change.

    The zrssfeed plugin works fine with my blog’s (https://www.sarareffler.com/feed) temp content, so the problem is specific to this url. I also checked this both locally and via hosting, and I have the same problem regardless.

  • Did you ever find a solution to this?
    I too am seeing this behavior.
    In my case, it loads the feed but new feeds entered seem to take hours to show up using zrssfeed.

    I am having an issue with feed after I added a static home page to my blog – what does one do for that?
