RSS Feed loss and unable to search Plugins

I installed WP on Oct 5. I used the zAlive theme, downloaded Wunderground Weather plugin/widget and used the provided RSS feed widget in the side bars. Everything was working great all week. This morning I get up and 2 RSS feeds work just fine (as before), but 2 have the error: “RSS ERROR: WP HTTP Error: name lookup timed out” and the weather plugin/widget is no longer able to pull up info either. I am also unable to lookup any plugins (no buttons are in the “popular tags” spot) and when I do attempt to search I get the message: “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.” I have disabled and removed the weather plugin. I see my site is slow in loading. Thinking there was a memory issue, I put that up to 64MB in the wp-config.php file. That is the ONLY code change I’ve made with not change for the better or worse in my issues. My hosting is denying there is any issue on their end because they can pull up the site and say it is not a DNS error and that there are no issues with firewalls on their end either. Any suggestions? I’ve wasted 2 days on this.
