RSS Feed Link not working

Situation
When I click on the “RSS” link in the footer under the log table, nothing happens. I just get redirected to the same page. When I try to acces this link in a private tab (not logged in to the wordpress backend) I get redirected to the login form of wordpress.

Steps taken

• deactivated and activated the plugin
• reset the RSS token
• emptied the RSS token (which results in a new RSS token)

Any ideas how to fix it or what to investigate?
