Internal server errors are stored inside your server error logs. If you can access those, knowing what the errors are inside of them (that relate to WP) would be good. If I had to say anything that might work at this point (without knowing the exact error, I would say delete wp-rss2.php and wp-feed.php off of your server (this is a critical step, do it). Download WP again (this is also a critical step, do it). And, upload a fresh wp-rss2.php and wp-feed.php from your new download. You will probably have to make a new post to see any changes, but that should do the trick.

    I tried uploading a fresh wp-feed, wp-rss, wp-rss2 and didn’t have any luck.
Its a standard HTTP 500 error when you click the rss2 link.
Do those files need any special attributes? Is there anything I need to change in order for RSS to work?
    Thanks.

Got it. It was an issue with the wp-blog-header.php file. I uploaded a new copy of it to resolve the issue.
