Sometime around when I upgraded to WordPress 3.1 my RSS feed started producing an error. One of my readers saw the error on his RSS reader. I see a strange error when I open my RSS feed on Chrome.

    Here is the page: https://vpivot.com/feed/

    And here is Chrome’s error:

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 34 at column 291: Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding !
    Bytes: 0x1F 0x66 0x69 0x67
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

When I open the feed in Safari I see no error. And, I am sorry to say, I have absolutely no idea where to start on this issue. I’ve opened the feed page in Chrome’s Developer-View Source window to see if anything obvious is appearing at the location it claims is in error. I don’t see anything.

In fact, because I have now checked this on other browsers I would claim this to be a Chrome problem. But, as I said, one of my readers saw the issue first on some other RSS reader.

Can anyone tell me where I could be going wrong?

    Thanks,
    Scott
