RSS Feed Description Missing

  • While trying to submit to several RSS directories, engines, etc. I got an error that they would not take the submission due to a “mandatory field missing..description” I checked the wp-rss2.php file and I can see a section on description but have no idea on how to edit this file. I ran the feed through feed validator and it says it is ok

    Using Tiga Theme 1.01, WP 2.03, Blog is at https://www.nevisblog.com and the feed is https://www.nevisblog.com/?feed=rss2

  • Well… <description/> is no bueno for some aggregators.

    If you go to Options -> General, what’s in your “Tagline” field?

    Ermmmmmmmmmmmm, OK……that might have been the problem. There wan’t one, don’t know how I overlooked that. Thanks
