    Hi

    Thanks for the plugin ??

We have run in to an issue with our RSS feed when using TSF.

    • In our WordPress settings we have “Full Post” selected in Reading / feed settings.
    • In TSF settings, we unticked “Convert feed entries to excerpts” to make sure the full post is shown in the feed.
    • We kept “Add link to source below the feed entry content” ticked as this is a useful feature.
    • But the truncated excerpt post is still shown.

Only by unticking “Add link to source below the feed entry content” could we get the full content to show.

I would expect them to work independently?

    Thanks

    Hi!

    Cheers ??

Feeds are prone to get cached in your browser because WordPress sends caching headers. Try hitting any of these keyboard combinations while spotting the feed to see if the feed is updated accordingly:

    1. CMD ?+OPTION ?+R (Safari Mac),
    2. CMD ?+SHIFT ?+R (Chrome/Firefox Mac),
    3. or CTRL ^+SHIFT ?+R (Windows, any browser).

We cleared WP cache and server cache. Also used multiple RSS feed reader to test. Still happens.

    Hello!

This feature is not affected by those caches but by the browser cache. The RSS feed readers may also honor the same caching mechanism.

Do you have a URL for me to inspect? Then I can verify if this is a persistent issue we need to tackle or one that will resolve itself once the browser caches expire. Thanks!
