    Hi @webboy10169 thanks for getting in touch.

    Does your web host support a staging site? I’d like to be able to see the broken RSS feed with Jetpack enabled, and I assume it’s currently turned off on your site.

    @webboy10169 thanks for your patience.

    This is interesting, I also have Jetpack installed on my main podcast, which uses SSP, and I don’t get the same error. I also notice that your feed has the following error in the Chrome console. Resource interpreted as Stylesheet but transferred with MIME type application/xml: “https://8bitbros.us/wp-content/plugins/seriously-simple-podcasting/templates/feed-stylesheet.xsl”.

    Are you able to disable all other plugins on the staging site, except Seriously Simple Podcasting and Jetpack, and switch to the default 2019 theme, and see what happens. I have a feeling this is another plugin or theme conflict.

    The other option could be some Jetpack setting I don’t have enabled, but if this is the case, switching the site to only having the two plugins and the default theme enabled, will allow us to dig into Jetpack from there.

    Interesting. I sat and turned everything off then brought up all serious plugins. all good. Yoast, then Jetpack, Then Google. all good.

    The offending plugins that nuke the feed are WP User Avatars and Post Snippets.

    Not being able to use post snippets is a biggie… we use this to insert gobs of content into our posts as not to have to retype content for every episode not sure if its there code that breaks the feed of an incompatibility between the 2 plugins.

    Post snippets is basically a shortcode inserter… Stumped

    looks like contact form 7 also breaks my feed

    Hi @webboy10169 can you confirm if it’s WP User Avatars, Post Snippets or contact form 7 that breaks the feed. My guess would be Post Snippets, if it’s injecting content into posts that the RSS feed does not like.
