I have 3 categories on my WordPress. However, only the default category shows up on my RSS. Is this a built in default or am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to get all your categories to show up in your RSS document?

    thanks

p.s. Just so you know. I have 3 categories (the default and two others). I have a total of 15 posts. I have it setup in the options to show the last 30 posts (more then I have, but will get there someday). Yet only posts show up in my RSS feed for the default category which has a total of 5 posts in that category. The reason I mention this in case someone offers that as a solution. I saw that another forum member asked the same thing but no one every replied to his problem. Maybe this is a bug in WordPress?

wow…i guess no help or solution. May I ask this. If you are using the latest version of WordPress and have more then one category, does all the posts from all categories show up in your RSS 2.0 document? Or does only the posts from your default category show up?

If someone knows why only the default category posts show up in the RSS 2.0, I’d be grateful for an answer.

    thanks

I’ve looked at your default feed and find three different categories (Online Dating Articles, Google Online Dating and Lady Fraud Report). Sorry but I don’t see a problem here. What are you using to read syndicated material?

Thanks for the reply. It helped me figure it out. Not sure how this happen. I have the RSS2 graphic on my home page with a link of

    https://www.filipinaeyes.com/online-dating-blog/?feed=rss2

Not even sure where I got that from.

When I go to the WordPress blog, and click on the RSS link at the bottom it gives me a link of:

    https://www.filipinaeyes.com/online-dating-blog/feed/

So my problem or confusion was I had two different links. The 2nd link shows all the categories.

I still don’t where I got this link from

    https://www.filipinaeyes.com/online-dating-blog/?feed=rss2

which only shows my default category. Hmmm, confused, but thanks.

    steve
