• WordPress version 2.9.2

I’ve been trying to figure out how to expand the number of words on my blog’s rss 2.0 feed.

I’ve tried replacing “55” with “160” in the wp-includes, formatting.php file — to no avail.

Strangely (I’m not sure why this is happening) the # of words in both rss feeds (1.0 and 2.0) remains the same: ca. 125.

How can I have that changed? I’ve looked everywhere, but I haven’t found a solution that works in my case.

Also, if anyone has any info re: this query

    that would be much appreciated.

No one who has any idea of how this issue can be resolved?
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

in that same area you’ll find a few feed.php & rss.php files like

    feed-rss2-comments.php
    feed-rss2.php
    feed-rss.php
and a few more you might want to check in those files there are a few more feed.php files than what I listed I think the main one that gets pulled is the feed-rss2.php file…. could you maybe post a link to your rss feed?

    Thanks,
    Angela
