Rss error!!

  • I keep gettting an error page when I click my RSS. It’s in finnish, but should show up in your own language.
    It’s at:
    https://www.heroes-inc.net/?feed=rss2

    There’s an extra “<” in the following line:

    <<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>

    But so far no one has been able to help me find it. I’m going on week two and starting to get desperate here.

  • You’ve got an extra ‘<‘ in one of your files, so it’s just a case of hunting it down. Start with wp-config.php, index.php in your install’s root folder and wp-blog-header.php.

    I’ve been thru those files AND others time after time.

    Nothing! I’m completely baffled.

    I’m trying to use feedburner to get past this problem…

    But it asks for a valid RSS feed link. This, of course, isn’t a working link…

    I got rid of the extra < but it didn’t help.

    Validation says this line is causing the error:
    ????<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>

    Same as before minus the <
    Looks fine to me.

    You can’t tell me that here… on the WordPress forum… there isn’t someone who can tell what the heck is wrong with this RSS….
