RSS Error

  • I’m attempting to add the RSS feed for my new podcast to my new website hosted by Awardspace.com (the free hosting plan). When I add the URL into the RSS block, I receive this error message.

    How do I resolve this issue?

  • The website your WordPress-powered site is running on doesn’t work yet. So there is no feed there.

    The RSS feed I found on the current live website is a Spotify-based website. The URL in the error code you provided a picture of won’t work yet and trying to test it via the web will give that error.

    Hmmm. Are you saying that the anchor RSS feed would be different than the Spotify RSS feed? When I go to Spotify, I see can see the podcast there. Maybe I don’t understand what you are saying.

    After posting my original message, I reached out to Awardspace who said they don’t allow RSS feeds with their free hosting plan. Thus, I decided to link to the youtube version, which will be more work in the long run, unless someone has another suggestion as to how I can have the feed automatically update.

    Any advice will be most welcomed.
