RSS Comments and Threaded Comments

I am trying to use wordpress 2.7 to let people post items to the website as comments and my ability to reply to their comments with the new threading option. My problem or question is in using the RSS feed for the comments. I would like the title for the consumer posted comment to have one title and the threaded comment to have another title.

to understand what I mean please see https://www.he-is-listening.com which is being used as a prayer chain. The owner of the site would like to add specific prayers under the posted requests (comments). All of the comments in the RSS feed use “request by Carmen” as their title. I would like the 1st depth to be “request by Carmen” and the 2nd depth to be “Prayer by Carmen”. (2nd depth currently are italicized.)

I use wordpress on more than a dozen different sites and have been very pleased with its ease of use and capabilities. I am open to any suggestions to make this work better.
