RSS before defaults to %%BLOGDESCLINK%%

A link to the blog is added before the post content on all posts in the RSS feed. When checking the value set in SEO > RSS it says %%BLOGDESCLINK%%. When I remove that value to just have an empty value, the %%BLOGDESCLINK%% reappears in the textarea after saving. And the link is present in the RSS feed.
Even when changing directly in the db to set it as empty, the blogdesclink is added before the feed content.
I updated to the latest version (1.5.2.7), but the problem was still there. (Before I had 1.5.2.5).
