• I am wanting to know where there is a RSS plugin for my blog and is it difficult to install. I looked it up in search and found several leads but they wouldn’t let me click on them, the link was unclickable. Thank you.

  • an RSS plugin that does what?

Your questions are really not that informative. If you really want help you need to be clear about explaining what you are trying to achieve..

    I want a rss feed.

thats nice. Thanks for continuing to be completely unclear.

You already have an RSS feed.

Now, do you want to IMPORT someone else’s feed?

Or do you want to know where yours is?

The theme you are using has some unusual code in the head, it’s a sponsored theme >> see the link to the well known mesotheiloma atty in the footer.. It’s probably screwing up your own feed. or not, I dont know really.

I want to know where mine is. I didn’t know I had one.

In one of your theme files is something that looks like this:

    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="hawaiionyourown.com<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" href="https://fu20.com/news/?feed=rss2" />

Did you put that there, if not remove it?

How am I to find this? Where are the files? Did it come with the installation of wordpress?

No it didnt, its in your theme file. You are NOT using the default theme. Youve downloaded that theme from somewhere and installed it yourself.

If you have a header.php, check that. I dont have the theme, and I wont download or bother looking at sponsored themes, so I cannot tell you for sure.

The lovely link in the footer, thats probably in footer.php (again, if there is one)

Is there a separate rss feed that I can download for wordpress?

    there’s no ‘separate rss feed’.

WORDPRESS SUPPORTS RSS FEEDS OF YOUR SITE DIRECTLY.

However, YOUR CHOSEN THEME MUST NOT INTERFERE WITH THE NORMAL OPERATION OF FEEDS.

Try switching to say the default or classic themes, and then try your feed url. Should work just fine. All built-in. Nothing to download.

I think he actually created a “feed” directory or something.

    Because this works:
    https://www.hawaiionyourown.com/blog/?feed=rss2

Also, given that he’s not using pretty permalinks, that would be his correct feed link.
