Royal Slider: Big Black Rectangles on Site

  • Royal Slider, the plugin found here:

    Has been used on our wordpress site without major malfunction for a few months. Though (to our knowledge) there was no change to the site that triggered this issue, a black rectangle is now being drawn overtop the royal slider content, and our website is in disarray.

    Members of our team have reached out to royal slider support, and while I’ve not been privy to those communications, we’re still not seeing a solution.

    I thought I would turn to the WordPress support community – I’ve received some fantastic help here before, and if anyone would be so kind as to assist in diagnosis and repair, I would be ever so grateful.

    Have you checked for hacking?

    Have you tried deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default theme? Those would be the standard troubleshooting steps.
