Hi, I’m currently trying to integrate click & drop, but for some reason it won’t connect. I’ve followed the Royal Mail guide: https://help.parcel.royalmail.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115003242774
    to no avail.
REST API keys are being issued by the WooCommerce store when I ask it to authorise Royal Mail to access it, so that appears good. Whenever I then click ‘Update & Activate’ on the Clik & Drop integration setup, I get a message say: ‘The store has been updated but connection to the marketplace failed. Please check your details and try again’. I have followed advice of a previous user to ensure my.htaccess are in working order so deleted, and regenerated new ones by saving changes on WP permalinks page.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out!

It’s hard to say why communication between your site and Royal Mail fails. Someone familiar with how this integration works would have to take a look.

I’d suggest reaching out to Royal Mail support team and asking them to check the logs/the reason behind this failure.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @epicscott

If you purchased the Royal Mail plugin on WooCommerce.com and have a valid subscription, you are eligible for premium paid support.

Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Tickets.

We will be able to help you further there.

@grigaswp I have submitted a ticket with Royal Mail too – thanks.

@amandasjackson That plugin is separate to the issue of integration with Woocommerce? Royal Mail integration with Click & Drop is directly into WooCommerce’s native code.

I wouldn’t say that this query is resolved.

    Hi @epicscott,

Indeed, the Click & Drop integration seems to be unrelated to Royal Mail extension offered on WooCommerce.com.

It does sound like the Click & Drop integration utilizes REST API for communication between Royal Mail servers and your site.

I’m fairly certain though that the communication fails due to server configuration but without the error logs, it’s hard to say what exactly is happening. Most likely, the support team of Royal Mail will point towards certain errors they see in the logs and ask you to reach out to your host.

From our side though we are usually unable to support third-party API integrations, especially since no information about the miscommunication between your site and Royal Mail is available to us.
