Main Calendar Page lists the 1st event Title as page title

I’m working on a client’s site and added the calendar event tool. It seems to work pretty good, but for whatever reason the calendar home page seems to be broken. I am unable to edit the page title or other content on the page.

My goal is to optimize the content for both prospects and search engines. We currently are only seeing the first event’s title in the mail title area for the page.

How can we fix this? How can we create a Page and optimize things and then connect it to the calendar tool? Is this possible? I’d love to drive traffic to a well optimized page to help this client land more speaking, but if we do not have control with the ability to do on-page seo, I guess we will have to look of other alternatives to help him get found and get new business.
