Row of question marks at wp-admin login page?

    One of my clients is suddenly unable to log in to their WP admin. The only thing on the page is a row of question marks:

    https://universitypressbooks.com/wp-admin

    I’ve tried installing a fresh wp-admin folder, but the same thing is still happening. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Thanks! It was uploading a fresh wp-includes folder that did the trick.
