    Hi @davidconover !

We are planning on adding this feature, but we don’t have it right now unfortunately.

    Kind Regards,

Just one idea, you could use nested competitions (for example: round 1/32, round 1/16, round 1/8 … ) so they will all be in the same place and you can create the matches lists and results but the standings would look like they usually do (all teams in a single table).

    Roch.
That is an interesting idea. We are looking at a six team tournament using a round robin format in two divisions of three teams to determine seeding. So each team plays 2 games (round robin) in their division and then from this we are able to come up with seeds. Seed 1 in each division gets a bye. Seed 2 plays Seed 3 from the other division. Seed 1 plays the winner from opposite division for championship.

Let me look and play around with it but any ideas you have would be appreciated. Since it is not currently an option we were considering just making it a competition (and not a tournament) so everyone would show up in the table.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi David!

Let me know if I got it right, you have 6 teams so for example 1,2,3,a,b,c, and they are divided into 2 groups, for example 1,2,3 & a,b,c

If 1 ends as first and a ends as first, they play against each other, and also 2 vs c and 3 vs b

    Is that right?

    Hi David!

One more thing, our pro plugin has a tournament option: https://www.themeboy.com/sportspress-pro/

Any update on this ‘Round Robin feature’? Love the plugin, but might need to switch due to lack of this kind of tournament option…. ??

    Hi!

We have this option in the Pro version! ??

    Kind Regards,
    -Roch

    Hi
can the Pro version create a round robin, home and away

can a round robin also be imported

    Thanks Chase

    Roch

    (@rochesterj)

    Hi Chase!

    Yes, for both!

you can import like the other matches (via XML or csv)

    Kind Regards,
    -Roch

    ok

so Team Fixtures can be generated as a round robin, say 10 teams playing for 9 weeks, before advancing to finals.

each week the team results, say home team scored 5 and away team scored 11 can be displayed in a results ladder

    – – –
    Team A has 4 players
    Team B has 4 players

they (players) all play each other in a match
    4 rounds of 4 players = 16 games (basically a round robin – scorecard)

    – – – – –
    Team A wins 5 games
    Team B wins 11 games

    Team wins breakdown
    player A 1 = 1 win
    player A 2 = 1 win
    player A 3 = 2 win
    player A 4 = 1 win

    player B 1 = 2 win
    player B 2 = 3 win
    player B 3 = 3 win
    player B 4 = 3 win

    – – – – –

Can Sportspress pro track both the Team wins and the Player Wins?

Can Sportspress pro display the round robin Players Scorecard?

    Hi Chase!

I’m a bit confused about what you mean in those player stats. But here is how it looks like: https://support.themeboy.com/article/173-how-to-create-tournament-brackets

    Kind Regards,
    -Roch

    Hi Josh

all of the scores originate from the scorecard
scores are entered in the scorecard and the transferred to the Team Ladder and player ladder

    hope this clears it up

    Hi Chase!

Please open a new topic explaining this so we can discuss it further. I think it’s possible but I’m not sure.
