When the “Basic Slideshow” rotates slides in Safari (iOS 15.2 / iPhone X), the browser crashes. This issue does not appear in other browsers as far as I know. We are running NextGEN Gallery 3.18 on WordPress 5.7.4.

    Example: https://theparamountrehab.com/events-debug/

I also wanted to note that it appears to be related specifically to when the slide in the slider switches, as far as I can tell.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I can also confirm that the issue is related to the “fade” animation itself. There is no issue with the “slide” animation.

    Hi @blakej115,

Thanks for the report. While we were able to replicate the issue visiting your site’s gallery page – we couldn’t mirror it on our own testing instances in ( iOS 15.2/iPhone 12 Pro ) Safari while using “fade” animation for Basic Slideshow gallery display type.

In such cases we are usually recommending to check for a conflict on the site. For this purpose you will need to temporarily deactivate the other active plugins leaving NextGen Gallery active and switch to a theme from the Twenty series to see if the issue is still reflected in your end.

Please keep us updated on your results.
