I would like to have rotating images in the cover template. I would be great (at least for me!) if this functionality could be added. Otherwise, suggestions how to implement this in a child theme would be welcome.

  • Probably not exactly the answer expected, but I use Stackable – Gutenberg Blocks. Probably the best Chaplin’s companion.
The plugin offers a nice rotating images bloc. Take a look in its code if you need to customize the function in your child theme.

    Hi @mgroenw,

Rotating images would require a control for selecting multiple images, which would require that data to be stored by the theme, which is not allowed on www.remarpro.com. I could add that in a companion plugin, but I would rather do without one if I could. For now, I’d recommend you to add that functionality in a child theme, or use a block for it like @ljvd suggested.
