Rotate featured ADS

Hi,
do you wish to have the featured ads on the [adverts_list] show in a random order? If so then i am afraid it is not really possible to sort the ads like that.

not really, I would like to have a sequence:
1) sponsor ads
2) normal ads
3) sponsor ads
4) normal ads
…)
until the sponsor ads end, after (example)
10) normal ads
11) normal ads
12) normal ads
…..

hmm this might be too complex to do, that is, it is best if the Ads are sorted when retrieving them from the database, but with this kind of sorting order, i do not see how this could be done.

Do you maybe have an example site where the Ads are sorted like this? Maybe if i would take a look at it on site i would get some idea on how to do it.

unfortunately I don’t have an online example to show you. The old version of my site, displayed sponsor ads alternately.
Usually all AD sites alternate sponsors between regular ads and without putting them all together.
