    On the booking form you are asked to select the room however on the email received the selected room does not appear.

    Therefore the client can’t distinguish which room the booking is for. (fyi: client does not have access to dashboard).

    Can this be fixed? If not I’ll have to find an alternative to Hostel unfortunately.

    I updated and just tested it but email still shows all information except for the room selected. What short code should I be putting in so the room selection shows? Kind regards, Monique x

    The code is {{room-type}}. I tested it, works fine for me.

    Sorry to bother you again but I updated to version 0.8.3 and added the code {{room-type}} however it appears in the email as {{room-type}} and not the room selected.

    All other codes work fine ie. name, contact number etc.

    What am I doing wrong?

    I don’t know, it works for me. Are you sure you are not looking the admin’s email? The code can be used only in the email sent to the guest.

    No it’s not working. I tested it as the guest. This is what appears. As you can see, all other coded information works fine except for the room type.

    I don’t understand. It works for me and has been tested several times. I see no reason for it to not work for you. Sorry, I can’t help unless you want to provide me debug access to your blog.

    I have the same problem as Monique222 with the selected room not showing in the emails being sent to me or the client booing the room.

    What they get is a the “Type” of room but this is not the same as the “Name” of the room which is more important.

    I think this is a really good plugin and with just a few tweaks it will rival some other expensive paid plugins.

    OK, that’s another thing – the name of the room is currently not available as variable. Initially we assumed it will be used only for management purposes. As it looks users want to use it in emails, we’ll add a variable for it soon.

    Good to hear. This one change of adding the variable of the room name to the both email sections will make this a perfect plugin for most.
