Room for Improvement, but It Does What It Says

  • If you need to allow your website visitors to upload content, or if you just want to display photo albums of your own photos, this plugin works great. I especially love the Layout Editor feature. It’s amazing!

    There is room for improvement. I found one feature, changing the image preview layout, that wasn’t clearly explained, and I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out why the image preview post for all of my images weren’t looking the way I intended them to. It turned out each photo has a preview setting, so just changing the global preview setting doesn’t change the preview setting for the photos already uploaded. That makes sense, but I never saw anything that documented that feature. The code could be a little bit cleaner too, which might make it difficult to work on as more features are being added over time. In the end, though, the plugin works just fine.

    Kudos to the author for making something new, not found anywhere else in the WordPress repository of free plugins.
