• Hi guys,

    Really interested in using this plugin for my rehearsal studio website but just wondered if there was an easy way to specify different timings through the day? We have hourly booking through the daytime, a four hour block booking in the evening and hourly booking again on the weekend.

    I’d also like people to be able to specify equipment they’d like to hire as well as we have people hiring drum kits, guitar amps and such like here but there’s a limited supply so we don’t want people double booking things.

    Duration of the booking slot is set per service and it is fixed time for each of the services. There are add-ons that are available in the premium version of the plugin (Paddings add-on specifically) that would allow you to block additional amount of time before/after appointment which you could use to block more time per booking, these padding times are set per either service or service provider.

    In terms of availability of slots (time wise) this is done by setting working hours for service providers so effectively there are many ways of achieving what you’re looking to achieve.

    For example if this is one studio that you’re renting, you can create two services (one with 1h duration, other with 4h duration), each would have it’s own service provider that would have separate working hours effectively allowing booking 4 hour slot only at the evening and 1 hour during day time. You can then use Additional Fields add-on (available in premium version of the plugin) so they can select which equipment they will use. This will not however prevent double booking equipment.

    With this being pretty complex setup you’d most likely have to use premium version as you’ll need multiple add-ons to achieve this, we do have a free 14 day trial on WPMU DEV so you can pick it up and see if that would work for you, you can also contact our tech support on the forum while on trial for help in setting up such setup.
