• When I go into a page to edit it, and then click on Upload/Insert link to add media (PDF, image, etc). The Add Media lightbox pops up with the black title bar and X to close it, and the white area for the content to be, but there’s nothing in there so I can’t even select what to upload, or select anything that’s already been uplaoded. It will sit there for days & just hang there.

This is something that happens in Chrome, Firefox & IE. Although in FF & IE, there’s just a progress bar that comes up. It is also happening on the 3 or 4 different computers I have, that are all on different networks & locations. The only thing I haven’t tested was on a different OS (all my computers are Windows 7).

I have upgraded & reinstalled WordPress 3.3.2 just to be sure that’s ok. I have also updated my flash & shockwave plugins too.

I’m not sure what else I can do to troubleshoot this. Any suggestions/recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Scott

This is a bit odd now. After weeks of trying to figure out this issue, today it has loaded through. Now I get the simple uploader, but even that doesn’t work. When I click on Select Files, nothing happens.

And there’s still nothing in the error log.

I am experiencing this also after a clean install (not re-install) of 3.4.1. It works locally and not on the real servers. Permissions have been checked and are correct for the uploads folder. The uploads folder is the default, with the month/year option de-selected.

Chrome says it is “Uploading 25%” and there are several calls in the developer tool console to “/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php”. However, the file does not finish loading and never appears. The failure is without error.
