    I would like to roll back to 2.x plugin. The new version has far too many bugs and changes to be usable currently. The problem is that the old version does not allow me to activate and prompts a message that we need to update and forces this to happen in order to activate the plugin.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    If you wish to continue using the old version:

    1. Download version 2.8.6 from here.

    2. Deactivate and delete version 3.x.

    3. Install version 2.8.6. and activate it.

    4. Reactivate your EventPrime extensions, if any.

    You can also create a support ticket here.

    HI,
    I tried to downgrade to version 2.8.6 following your instructions but as a result I got the following error:
    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /web/htdocs/www.freeservicegroup.it/home/wp-content/plugins/eventprime-event-calendar-management/includes/class-em-install.php:48 Stack trace: #0 /web/htdocs/www.freeservicegroup.it/home/wp-content/plugins/eventprime-event-calendar-management/includes/class-em-install.php(29): EventM_Install::create_pages() #1 /web/htdocs/www.freeservicegroup.it/home/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(308): EventM_Install::install() #2 /web/htdocs/www.freeservicegroup.it/home/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(332): WP_Hook->apply_filters() #3 /web/htdocs/www.freeservicegroup.it/home/wp-includes/plugin.php(517): WP_Hook->do_action() #4 /web/htdocs/www.freeservicegroup.it/home/wp-admin/plugins.php(194): do_action() #5 {main} thrown in /web/htdocs/www.freeservicegroup.it/home/wp-content/plugins/eventprime-event-calendar-management/includes/class-em-install.php on line 48.

    Many Thanks for your help.

    Hello @eliloeffel @nunomata98 @alanda @samdalex ,

    We’re sorry for the issues which appeared during the roll back process. The reason is that version 3 saves settings in a different format than the earlier version. We have created a small plugin which can fix this for you. Before you try to reactivate version 2.8.6, please install and activate this plugin. After that, older version should work fine (and there will be no error during activation). Once done, you can safely remove this plugin.

    Here’s the download link.

    Let us know if you still face problems while rolling back.

    My plugin updated on its own again even with auto plugin updates disabled. This broke my site over the long weekend. I am rolling it back again.
