roles to display statistic

hi, thank you for your plugin…I have an issue because I assigned the accessibility also to author role but when an author tries to view the statistics then he can see only several shortcodes, like [wsm_showGenStats] . Only if I give to the author the admin role then he is able to view the statistics. Any idea how to fix this problem? I use the free version of the plugin and a Divi template. Thanks in advance for your help.
