Roles on translation site

    Hi. I have a main site in English and a translation site in Italian. I see that the secondary site only allows users to be created with the “Translator” role. I would like people to be able to create pages. This is because I am using a page-creator plugin called Cornerstone. The translation edit field on the main site is not enough.

    I know how to edit the wp_options table to add additional roles. Is there a reason that only the Translator role is enabled?

    MultilingualPress does not have any roles. ?? Are you sure this is the right forum? Or are you maybe also using some translation role plugin or so?

    MultilingualPress gives access to the Translation meta box for all sites that the current user has the required capabilities for, irrelevant of any user roles.

    I see. My other translation sites are not having this issue. It must have been different bug when I set up the site. Thanks!
