    Hi,
I’m administrator of a club website and been tasked with allowing certain users access to edit certain pages.
Ive set up roles and linked people to the roles.
I’m not getting everyone in the author list to select from when selecting the pages they would be assigned as authors.
And when I get one done that person logging in doesn’t see the dashboard so cant edit a page.
How do I get dashboard to show up for them please?
    Mike

  • Hi @sailingmike49,

Please, can I confirm that everyone has the same permission level of ‘Author’?

Looking on the codex page for roles and capabilities an author will not have permission to edit pages, they would need to be an editor. This is could be the reason why they can’t see the page to make the edit.

If I have misunderstood any of the above please do let me know and I can take another look.
