Role without ability to change links

    Hi,
    I want to create a user role that is able to swap or add images inside my articles but also unable to change existing links.

    How can I do that?

    Hi @deon-b

    To add and swap images in posts, users need to have Edit, Read, and Published Posts capabilities from the Posts tab and Upload Files capability from the Media tab. Unfortunately, I’m afraid there’s no way to allow users to add and swap images and disable changing links in the post or image.

    would it be possible to create a role that can only access the media gallery but not the posts/pages?

    You can check only Read capability in Posts and the Pages tab, uncheck others capabilities and enable Upload Files capability on the Media tab. This way, users can access and add media and will not see Posts and Pages.
