Role Mapping from Discord

    Hello,

    I have setup the connect to discord app for my GamiPress installation and have already established roles setup on Discord – I would like these to be the main roles with them replicated on WordPress.

    Currently I can see that if users connect their discord it will take their roles from GamiPress and attribute them in Discord, I would like their ranks in Discord to update their ranks on the website. Is this possible with this application at all?

    I have also seen you are expecting to implement social login with this too, so not having to use a button to connect separately – is there an ETA for this feature at all?

    Hi @jwdevelopment

    Currently, the plugin does not support two-way synchronization. Due to the plugin’s structure, we use API calls and a bot setup that does not support syncing roles back from Discord to WordPress.

    For now, the social login feature is not available.
