Role Management Capabilities Gone

    I can no longer mange Roles… As best I can tell this happened when I created a new Super Admin account and deactivated the default main admin account (due to brute force attack and password guessing for that account).

    I’ve tried deactivating all of my other plugins to verify it’s not a plugin conflict. I also have a duplicate development site that I never changed the admin account for and it works perfectly there.

    My users can now not edit content that had previously been given access to although the Roles are still listed for each user, they aren’t functioning and I can’t edit them to resolve the issue.

    Any idea how to rectify this? I’ve tried uninstalling deleting the plugin and reinstalling it new using the new Super Admin account, but it’s still not working.

    I fixed this myself after further exploration… apparently by default the Super Admin role has no capabilities for managing Roles, seems odd… I went in and created another Administrator Account which could then edit roles, and gave the Super Admin the ability to edit Roles.
