  • I did this and things appear to be working properly. Just don’t assign users more than one role. I thought it wouldn’t hurt anything to allow a user to be both a Customer and a Preferred Customer. However, with both roles assigned, my Preferred Customer discount would not work.

Not a problem for me. Just a heads up to anyone having problems with role-based discounts.

    Hi,

Can you give more details about the issue with roles create by “User Role Editor” plugin?

I think it would be better to contact me about the possible issue/conflict during those 8 months, in order I fix it, instead of giving such not very friendly (for other plugin developer) recommendation to your plugin users?

Is there still a conflict between these plugins?

Pricing Deals is still happier with the Members plugin…

Hi I am having issues with the plugin.

Changed to members for user roles and it solved the issue of pricing rules deleting after publishing.

Now the pricing rules dont change but the deals do not work when tested?

    Hi,
Please contact me via my support channel. Please send me:

(*) a precise summary of the rule in words, just like this example:
“Buy 3 of category X, get a discount on all category x purchase(s)”

(*) a full, complete screenprint of the rule , top to bottom
    – (please send as a FILE attachment, and not pasted into the body of the email)

    (*) your System Report:
    – Go into wp-admin, select Woocommerce->System Status .
    – Click button ‘Get System Report’ at top of page.
    – Click button ‘Copy for Support’.
    – Paste into a return email to me.

    Best,
    Vark
