Role confusion in plugin?

    There appears to be something awry with roles.

    An editor logging in to a site I administer received a request to confirm the admin user’s email address while they were logging in.

    I (the admin of the site) then received an email alerting me to an “Admin login”, ie. “A user with username “xxxx” who has administrator access signed in to your WordPress site” – the user in question doesn’t have administrator access, they are of role editor.

    Was this the first time the editor had logged in or was this an existing editor?

    Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.
