Role Change Not Saving

  • When I remove Other Roles from the Administrator Role, changes are not saved. Per another recent support topic, I tried to clear cache and also forced refresh while in the URE Capability Menu using Command+Shift+R (on a Mac).

    I am not sure when this problem started, but I recently updated to current plugin version. WP is also up to date.

    Also disabled all plugins to troubleshoot, problem still persists.

    Please confirm, do you mean “remove other roles from administrator USER”. That is you click “Capabilities” link under administrator user then try to revoke other roles from it. Right?

    Correct. All of our Administrator users somehow have 2 additional custom roles assigned. I want to remove those other roles.
