Role assigned not allowing to view content

I made the role “Spectator” the only role that is not allowed to view new content. But even when the user is logged in they still cannot see the content in which they should be allowed to view. It was working a few days ago, but now it’s not.
I have only downloaded the plugin “Redirection” since it started not working. Maybe there is a conflict between these 2 plug ins?
