Rol when user register by social buttons

You said that the role of the subscribing user is the one we have in the wordpress settings, but it’s not working that way for me. It always registers as Subscriber, and I have Customer configured. How can I make the user that registers with the role that I have configured in the wordpress settings? Thank you.
