Robots.txt unreachable

    I am trying to add my site on Google webmaster tool. Everything is all right but in crawling section it shows.
    “Google couldn’t crawl your site because we were unable to access the robots.txt file.robots.txt”

    While I have robots.txt file in my root directory . but still this error is showing up.

    please help me out.
