Robots.txt and Google XML sitemaps plugin

    Hi!
    I have problem with this plugin. When I activate it, then my site shows up in Google search like this: A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt – learn more. When I deactivate it then the warning goes away. Can anyone help?
    When I created the sitemap it didn′t appear in my robots.txt file? Do I have to but it there manually?
    I also use plugin WP Robots TXT.
    Please help!

  • The plugin just adds one line to your robots.txt to specify the path to the sitemap. Any other robots.txt content (for example entries related to blocking the description) don’t come from the plugin.
