Robots.txt

  • So I recently noticed that when I search my website on Google, the meta-description is coming up with the phrase…
    “A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt – learn more.”
    (other search engines come up with similar text… Your site wont allow us to show a description…) I am using the latest version of WP and the Robots.txt is as follows…

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Disallow: /wp-content/

    I have also made sure the reading settings are set appropriately…
    (I have unchecked the box that reads) “Discourage search engines from indexing this site”

    So what’s the deal? Why wont descriptions show up? I need help!
