    Hello,

I checked both documentation, FAQ, forum posts here and didn’t find and answer – where in page structure (visible by ftp or cpanel file manager) is robots.txt located (by default should be in site root directory, but I can find it there). But if I open mysite/robot.txt – it’s there. So I just don’t get it – is it generated on request or what? I need to change it, that’s why is the question.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Peter,

If you can’t find the robots.txt, then it’s virtually inserted by WordPress via Apache’s mod_rewrite. TSF can then manipulate the output.

You can manually insert a custom robots.txt file. That’ll prevent WordPress and TSF from generating one for you, and you’ll then have full control over it.

    Hi Sybre,

It’s clear now. Thank you very much for support (and the fast reply).
