    the robot.txt says
    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /

    I cant change it too
    User-agent: *
    Disallow:
To allow all robots complete access?

what and where do I change this please or do I not need to do this to rank my pages and site?

  • Hello @lavisbre! Thanks for using TSF. Similar question was asked here, you should find satisfactory answer to your qestion in that topic.

If you just want to have “optimal” robots.txt file without too much reading into it, you can find your inspiration here https://theseoframework.com/robots.txt, just change the URL to yours. If you do this, you should be just fine!

Is you still have any more question of something is fuzzy, ask here.

    Hi @lavisbre,

You should go to /wp-admin/options-reading.php. On that options page, at the bottom, you’ll see an option called “Search Engine Visibility”.

It should be unchecked, and then your website is ready to be indexed ??

It can take up to a week or two before indexing occurs. Please note that domain age and quality back-links play a very important role in ranking. So, don’t expect to be on the first page just yet… give it time ??
