  • Hi @pipdig

    would it be soooo much work to integrate the Zendesk “my Activity” in WordPress?

    I know it is not exactly the first goal of the plugin but it would be a nice feature ??

    Hi @guiberlin,

    Thanks for the suggestion. However I think that would probably be out of scope for this particular plugin. Really we just want to focus it on the actual request/ticket form.

    We could look into creating a new plugin though. We already run our front end ticketing system like this through a custom plugin on our site. So people log in to WordPress and access their ticket and create replies etc instead of ever accessing Zendesk. We have considered offering this as a plugin, however it is quite complex to publish. Maybe one day ??

    Hi there,

    Will uploaded attachments be added soon?

    I’m currently using a custom form function I wrote for gravity forms, but would much rather use your plugin. I can send you the code if it would help? It handles one attachment perfectly, but multiple attachments would be better.

    I’m also very interested in hearing when uploaded attachments will be added.

    Keep up the good work.

    Hi @gregsmith @jfaurby, we’ve pushed attachments to the top of the “todo” list. I can’t promise anything, but I’m hopeful that we will be able to complete that within the next few weeks ??

    It is now possible to enable file attachments in request forms using version 2.7.0 of the plugin (not released yet). This version can be downloaded via this link. After installing, head over to ‘Settings > Zendesk Form’ for further information. Any feedback on the new attachment options is welcome.

    Great news! ??
    I′ll check it out over the next few days.

    Thanks!

    @pipdig

    When I try to install the file I’m getting this:

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. //wp-content/plugins/zendesk-request-form/

    Plugin install failed.

    Any ideas?

    @jfaurby you may need to delete that directory from your hosting before installing the plugin. You can do that via FTP or cpanel (if that’s what your host uses). The other option would be to delete the plugin from your WordPress dashboard, but that will mean you need to re-add the API key to the settings page (not a huge issue, but something to be aware of).

    @pipdig

    Thanks! It worked perfectly to delete the plugin and re-install it.
    And it works great … good work guys!

    @jfaurby that’s great! Glad to here it is working for you. It can be complex to get file attachments working across different hosts, so this is good news ??
