Ripp off – Dont invest time in this

  • When upgrading to Event Espresso pro…they charge for any little thing. Worst is the pro edition is not ready for prime time. Lots of bugs. Constant updates.

    When you purchase the plugin you assign a domain…well they dont tell you but once you want to reassign the to a different domain they charge you $10. WTH. I never experienced this.

    Its a powerful plugin but has a small dev team that isnt ready for prime time. Dont waste your time on this. Im moving to a different event manager after I spent over $150 on their business license which is only good for one domain. Total ripp off.

    We have thousands of people using Event Espresso in “prime time” so it’s working for many. many people. We have constant updates because we’re always improving the plugin…would you prefer few updates? Our plugin is ready for WordPress version 3.5 (before version 3.5 it’s released).

    Our support license specifies that we can only support one domain, but Event Espresso is GPL so you can use it on as many sites as you want but without important support, updates, etc. We can’t support unlimited sites for one small price-we don’t support child labor. The fees are very minimal for the savings in ticketing fees and time savings.

    The $10 license re-assignment is only for people who want to move their support to a new website to receive support and automatic upgrades.

    Event Espresso is probably the most well supported events plugin available, and we have more features which will make you more successful.

    I don’t know what your problems really are (because you didn’t mention them), but you might be more successful if you ask our support team for help instead of just complaining.
