Be careful when buying services from Rewards Fuel.

I used this plugin last year and since it was poorly translated to Brazilian Portuguese i offer the translation in exchange of a 3 months subscription.

Because of some DDOS protection they use and since my website is located in Brazil, there was some incompatibility so i never used it, despite having properly provided the said translation and delivered completely done. Since it was not a Rewards Fuel fault, i let that be.

To my surprise, one year after this, i realized that i was being charged for the plugin every month in a total of U$ 91,87 without taxes.

I told this to Rochelle, the person that i negotiate the exchange and the woman i think is behind the service, she said she was going to check it out and now she doesn’t answer me anymore. This was 2 months ago.

I was charged for U$ 91,87 in services i never used despite having delivered what we agreed upon and never got anything in return.

I live in Brazil and i don′t know who to ask for help like a consumer protection service or something, so i am opening this topic so people can know what kind of person is behind this plugin, is the least i can do.

After i published this review i′ve got an Email from Rochelle telling me she had “family emergencies” and “hadn’t been dealing with that email in a while”.

She promised me a refund so i will update this as soon as i got it and mark it “resolved”.

    Updating…

The first answers from Rewards Fuel was that Pay Pal was “holding payment” and they never received anything.

Thanks to that i had to go to my history account and check all the payments made and then i could confirm the amount i paid was even bigger because Pay Pal uses the money on its wallet balance first before charging the credit card so the bottom line is I made 9 payments of U$ 13.95 each month in a grand total of U$ 125,55 from January to September.

I sent to Rewards Fuel all the PDF files with the confirmation of each payment processed containing the transaction ID, the exchange rate, etc.

After that, they told me that i will received a full refund only if i remove this topic. Since i can’t remove it because the system doesn’t have this option, i am marking this as “solved” trusting Rewards Fuel will keep their word.
